first glimpse of Glenwood, outside...

let me begin by saying: prepare yourselves. there are some people who don't have to dig deep within their imagination to see potential. i am blessed to be one of these people! this cottage is just overflowing with "OH MY GOD"'s but it is going to look warm and inviting once i dig my hands into it...

it was a dreary day...this is where the gremlins climb in... i was told the landscaping at one point looked like a lush Hanging Gardens of Babylon and as you can see, with a history of uncaring tenants, there are about 3 plants left. here's two of them...we must do something about this...i love the shed. this is the only part of the house that isn't covered in vinyl.pretty hardware... yes. this was all left behind. and yes, the swinging door to the backyard doesn't latch properly.i paid extra for the soggy pizza box.like all beautiful architecture in New England, someone decided to plaster the walls with fake wood paneling and put in dropped ceilings... original windows and roof structure.... a breath of fresh air...oh, here's the other plant (and it may be a weed)...a festival of thorns on the other side of the house...

dreary day for a dreary-looking cottage.
